Some brides know from the very start what colour scheme they would like for their wedding. We often though speak to brides who are struggling to decide upon a colour scheme only months before their wedding.  Torn between different colours or shades of a colour, they are looking for inspiration either from a particular flower or a bridesmaid dress that they like.  Once chosen, they can include the colour in their stationery, table decorations, bridal partyoutfits, flowers, bridemaids and flower girl dresses

For those brides still trying to decide, this year's Pantone Colour of the Year is Pantone No. 18-3838  Ultra Violet.

Purple has been a popular choice for brides for a few years now and the Ultra Violet is a really pretty shade.  Team it with paler or darker shades of purple, pink or green for a really beautiful look.

Many of the flower girl dresses that BellaZarrie stock have either a coloured sash already included or have a detachable sash enabling one to be added.  We have a range of colours as standard including a few shades of purple.  We can also get hold of other shades if you have a particular one that you are looking for.  Simply email us with your name, address and colours you are looking for and we will send you out some swatches!

The Lacey Bell range of flower girl dresses and Holy Communion dresses was so popular last year that we've added more to our range this year!

Made in the EU, the Lacey Bell brand is relatively new to the UK and it offers stunningly beautiful, high quality products at very good prices. Their range of flower girl dresses and Holy Communion dresses are available in either white or ivory.  Some are sized from 1 year to 14 years and all are from 8 years to 13 years.  Take your pick from satin, lace and or/tulle.

With the inclement weather that we have here in the UK, there is always a high chance that a jacket will be needed for warmth.  There is no need to cover up that stunning dress that you've bought her for her first Holy Communion with an everyday outer coat.  Instead take a look at the new range of bolero jackets from Lacey Bell that are now in stock.

From faux fur to satin to sequinned lace, there is something for all styles and all temperatures.

If the Lacey Bell range is a bit beyond your budget, BellaZarrie also stock a range of cheaper but still good quality satin boleros.

Why not take a look at our range!

What will Meghan's flower girls be wearing?

Friday , 22nd December 2017

With the release of their engagement photos yesterday, the buzz around Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding on May 19th is only going to intensify over the next few months.

Meghan's dress will of course be the main focus but with Prince George and Princess Charlotte expected to play a leading role in the wedding party, flower girl dresses and page boy outfits are also bound to come under the spotlight.

Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, chose very traditional puffed sleeve silk dresses for her flower girls as did her sister Pippa Middleton when she married last year. With a coloured sash and floral head garland, the little ones looked adorable.

Meghan though has a more contemporary style and our guess is that she will choose something less traditional.  Maybe a bit more princess-like with lots of tulle?  Sleeves of some sort, even just a little cap sleeve, for religious reasons will no doubt feature and if she chooses a colour for either the dresses themselves or for the sashes, our bet is on a shade of green!

We don't have long to wait to find out and we are getting as excited as everyone else!
